The tax services program is a joint effort between Student Government, Beta Alpha Psi, the Accounting Department, and the IRS. The goal of the program is two fold: to provide free income tax assistance to students and community members and to strengthen the accounting program here at UW-Whitewater. Students can take ACCOUNT 496 Income Tax E-filing to prepare actual returns under the guidance of an accounting teacher, one who is knowledgeable in current tax laws and certified as a CPA.
