Top 10 Questions to ask a Socialist.

1. Doesn’t “Nazi” mean National Socialism?


2. Why do socialist regimes often find it necessary to prevent its citizens from leaving the country, whereas capitalist countries never do?


3. Why is there, every year, a net emigration out of socialist countires and into capitalist countires?


4. What is the difference between socialism and slavery? In both cases, isn’t there someone else making all the decisions and forcing you to live your life in a particular way?


5. Why do socialist countires always find it necessary to ignore (or fabricate) empirical data? To re-write their history?


6. Why don’t you scoialists just live in a little commune (with other like-minded individuals) within a capitalist country, where you are free to do so? (Note that the reverse is impossible.)


7. Isn’t it extremely elitist to advocate a form of government in which the ruling class is so smart that it can make the best decisions for everyone, while everyone else is so stupid that they can’t be trusted to make any decisions for themselves?


8. If capitalism is so bad, why is there practically a 1:1 relationship between a given coutry’s degree of prosperity and its degree of cpitalism?


9. What do you have against unfettered cooperation, which is what capitalism really is? That is to say, why can’t you allow humans to enter into any and all arrangements with each other that they find mutally agreeable and beneficial?


10. On what basis do you maintain that I am my brother’s keeper? What moral grounds give me the right to force any other human to live for my sake?
