In 1951, Robbie Page died of polio in a hospital in Boston. He was the son of Robertson and Mary Hastings Holloway Page (our past National President). He died at a time where there was no cure for polio. His parents established a memorial fund for polio research. At this time in Tri Sigma was looking for something to sponsor and so they took on the Robbie Page Memorial. Present day the RPM is nationally known for helping children like Robbie Page. Although there is a cure for polio, there are many other diseases for which a cure is needed. Tri Sigma sponsors two children's wings in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Dallas, Texas.
