The Society for the Advancement of Management is hosting the 19th Annual SAM Fun Run on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Cravath Lake. This is a fundraiser to help raise money for the Sable House of Whitewater, a local charity that helps people recover from alcohol and other drug abuse.
The Fun Run/Walk will begin at 11:00am with registration on
April 25th. All participants should meet at the Cravath Lake
Community Center for registration. The race will begin at noon.
Once the race is concluded, a raffle will take place where you can win
excellent prices graciously donated from local area businesses.
The winner of the race will receive first choice of prizes at the
raffle.
How to register:
1)
Download a
Registration Form, fill out completely and submit to the SAM Mailbox
in the Management Department Office, 5045 Carlson Hall,
UW-Whitewater.
2)
Submit $10.00 Entry Fee ($13.00 April 15th - Race Day) with the
Registration Form. You can also pay online with your credit card
via Paypal below. Please indicate payment via Paypal on your registration form.
3)
After registration forms and entry fees have been submitted, just show up to
the 19th Annual SAM Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, April 25th for registration at
11:00am.
*Please note:
Your entry fee includes an official 19th Annual SAM Fun Run T-Shirt and entry to
the raffle at the end of the race. All participants who register
by April 14th will be guaranteed a t-shirt. After April 15th,
t-shirts will not be guaranteed. All proceeds from the entry fees
will be donated to the Sable House of Whitewater.
