EVENT DESCRIPTIONS

-- Mission Mississippi --

In January 2006, members of our group traveled to Bay St. Louis in Mississippi to assist in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Here are some of the things they accomplished:

-Worked in 5 schools of Bay/Waveland School District

-Sorting of books and DVD's at Bay St. Louis Library

-Completely dry-walled one house

-Completely gutted one house

-Built 2 handicap access ramps

-Assisted with janitorial

-Donated supplies to library and schools

-Donated money to schools, library, Police Department, Fire Department, Chamber of Commerce, and the Hancock County Historical Society
