EveryDay God Encounters - Conversations with the Creator of the Universe
In its simplest definition, prayer is communication with God. While prayer need not be restricted to specific meeting times, coming together to pray with a purpose is beneficial. The purpose of our EveryDay God Encounters (EDGE) is to seek God on behalf of our campus, chapter, classmates, and the advancement of His kingdom. Come join us in growing closer to God and each other through prayer!
In This Week's EDGE Meetings...
With this being the last week before exams, let's have the focus of our prayer meetings be on finishing our last week well and also on the summer ahead. This is a good time to thank God for what He's done in each of our lives as well as lift up our summer plans. Summer presents different challenges than the semester in that we're away from our college fellowship and friends,as well as possibly working more, or even looking for a job. But God is still the same, no matter what situation we find ourselves in and He cares for us just as much. Even in the midst of change, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8)."
