I'm very excited to finally be able to introduce the History pages! The history of our chapter is quite full of holes, but there are quite a few fun things that I dug up in this process. Please browse around...we have some old pictures, newsletters, and lots of articles about our chapter throughout the years...alums, you might even find a picture of yourself in there somewhere!
Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976, but the first campus chapter wasn’t formed until 1987 at Baylor University. The University of Wisconsin – Whitewater’s Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter was started in 1989 with only 12 members. Today we have over 60 active members and in 2006 we sent 32 students on the annual Spring Break trip. We currently have 15 elected officers and 2 advisors.
If you have any articles, pictures, letters, etc that you would like to see here, please email the Webmaster.
