 A Chance to Change
the World!

Volunteer Opportunities - Members have the chance to volunteer with many different community organizations at their leisure rather than being obligated to volunteer regularly for one.  This is what makes our club unique.  We don't force you to volunteer.  We inform you of the projects that we have, and you can volunteer for whichever you like.
Personal Development - Volunteering, training, and meeting people all develop who you are.  There's no better feeling than knowing that you've made a difference in someone's life.
Practical Experience - Work experience is gained through participation in volunteer projects and seminars.
Leadership Training - Leadership skills can be obtained through seminars, conventions, and participation in club management.  Becoming an executive board member or joining a committee could help you obtain these skills necessary for life.
Lifetime Friendships - Some of the best friends that you'll ever have come from Circle K.
Socials, Parties, Food, Fun - We have parties, camping trips, potluck dinners, go bowling, play pool, skating...
Travel - We have many weekend activities available to our members, most at a very low cost (sometimes free).
Scholarships - We have four district and International scholarships and one local scholarship up for grabs every year.
Career Networking - Having a partnership with Kiwanis International provides us with professional contacts and support.
Community Development - Opportunity to give back to your community through service.
Right to run and hold office - as Circle K Executive Officer, Committee Chair, as well as District and International positions following a year of active membership.
Awards - Opportunity to win member of the month, achievement awards and other contests.
The National Dean's List - All Circle K International members are eligible to be nominated for inclusion in the upcoming directory.

Benefits of Membership

Circle K International will provide a variety of experiences to help you realize your leadership potential. As a member of your Circle K club, you will be called upon to share your unique talents to enhance your club's outreach. Your involvement in Circle K International will have a significant impact on the campus, community, and world. As a dedicated Circle K'er you will develop lifetime friendships, establish a career network with Kiwanians, and apply individual skills to various settings.

Your active involvement in Circle K is demonstrated through your participation in service projects, prompt payment of membership dues, attendance at club meetings and social activities, and involvement with your club's ongoing leadership development and educational programs. Active membership is maintained through achievement of the minimum grade point average set forth by your college or university and attainment of the above expectations as further defined by your club.

The dues that you pay to your club, the district and the International levels are vital to the operation of Circle K International. These dues ($30/year) pay for a portion of the administrative budgets and the district and International governing boards of Circle K International. As a dues paying member in Circle K International you will receive five issues of Circle K Magazine, a handbook and a membership card.
