Future Chemistry Leaders!! Becoming a Chem Club
Officer is a great opportunity to open doors to your future in the
Chemistry field!! We
are going to hold elections for 2006/2007 officers April 18th at
5:15pm in UH 142. Please come if you would like
to run for office.

The
Hoard Museum 10 o'clock Scholars Demonstration was a HUGE
Success! Thank you for all who participated. I want to send a very
special thanks to Dr.
Asala, Eric Popp, and Scott Piche for volunteering
their precious time to help out Chem Club (and we all got free t-shirts
too). The kids had a really great time. Check out the
pictures here!

The Spring 2006 T-shirt design has been chosen! It will be a black shirt with lime green writing. The
anticipated price is about $10. Let an officer know if you would
like one!
Congratulations to James Hergert
for slaughtering the competition and becoming the National Chemistry
Week Chemistry Jeopardy champion!! He is a true genius, just like
his shirt prophesized!
IT'S NATIONAL CHEMISTRY WEEK EVERYONE!!!!!!! (Oct.
16th-Oct. 22nd)
The theme this year is "The Joy of Toys". We are going to be
having a celebration for national chemistry week Thursday,
Oct. 20th at 5:15pm in rm. 144 of Upham. We are going to
have pizza, and Chemistry jeopardy. There will be prizes given
away for the winner. Grand prize is a chem club sweatshirt, and
we will also be giving away t-shirts and homemade soap from last
year. So if you don't have chem club paraphernalia
yet come and try to win it!!!! Let's celebrate the "Joy of
Chemistry" this week!! Hope to see all of you there.
