For those of you who missed our meeting, here’s what you miss:
-We’re going to purchase psi chi banner and cords for those who are graduating -We’re holding a bake sale Wednesday, April 19th from 10-3pm, if you are able to help at any of these times, please let us know. Also, please bring a baked item or fruit to donate at the next meeting - Our next meeting we are going out to eat at Stockdale in Fort Atkinson for our induction ceremony. Please RSVP by Friday so that we have a count for reservations, and if you’re able to drive, please let us know.

Tonight Dr. Eamon discussed
his research on Gender Jokes and Memory of Short
Stories. He discussed the data, results, and some stats
of his work. He is also interested in help in following
semesters. If you are interested, or want to learn more,

Dr. Poorman will be speaking
at our next meeting March 21st. We also should have
shirts in by this time.
The meeting following that
Dr. Stalder will be speaking.
Coming up in April:
Our Teddy Bear Round Up will
be from the 21-24th. If you would like to work to set up
the Teddy Bear Round Up on the 20th at 8:45, please let
us know. We will be donating the teddy bears to a
children's hospital. If you would like to donate a teddy
bear, please make sure they're new and still have the
tags on them. If you would like to donate games or art
supplies that would be great too. Please make sure to
spread the word and let everyone you know about it.
We are also considering
having a bake sale in mid-April as well.

Katie called the meeting
at 5:05.
We handed out member info
to new members and did a small introduction to the Psych
Club.
We discussed the following
events that will be coming up in March:
* Dr. Eamon and Dr.
Poorman will be speaking about their research. Dr.
Stalder has also shown interest in speaking as well.
Some professors will be
showing their research at the MPA conference. We are
also hoping they will share their research with us as
well.
* The Teddy Bear Round Up
will begin between March 20th - 24th. The boxes for the
bears will be set up around campus and in the UC. We
will be donating the bears to a children's hospital.
* We discussed several
ideas for new fundraisers. A few were a chili for the
cold weather, Sunday's for warm weather, and perhaps a
fundraiser for April Fools. If you have any ideas,
please contact us!
* Any Psych Club members
who are interested in Peer Mentoring incoming freshman
let us know. We would like to help incoming freshman
Psych Majors help to meet new people, help them pick out
their psych classes and bring them to other
organizational meetings. A sign up sheet went around
during the meeting, but if you are interested please
contact Jesse.
* We are discussed having
a social with the professors if they are interested they
can meet and talk with new freshman. We thought this
would be a good idea, so that freshman can get to know
the professors better. As of now, there are no definite
plans.
T-SHIRT MONEY IS DUE BY
THUR. FEB. 23rd @ 4:00pm! If anyone else is interested
or wants anything, please leave a note with the money in
the Psych Club mailbox on the 5th floor of Winther! If
we don't get the money, you can't get your clothing
items.
Sean Winter and Amy Wiser,
please turn in your money to the mailbox by Thur.
Dues are due as well to
the Psych Club, again, if you have not paid your dues,
please place $10 with a note with your name in the mail
box.

We handed out new member info and did introductions. At our next meeting, TUE Feb 21st, UWW Psychology Club dues will be due: $10 T shirt money will also be due at our next meeting. Congratulations to our new PR: Whitney Zuieigas Dr. Poorman will be rescheduling and speaking at another meeting. So don't worry if you missed this past meeting. We will be holding a Teddy Bear Round up during March 20th - 24th. Please bring or drop off a new teddy bear at drop boxes to be donated. We will be discussing where the bears will be donated to. Our introductions included several positions we have available for a web page master and P.R. person. If anyone is interested, please let us know. We will be voting at our next meeting Tuesday February 7th in our new room 4010. Our treasures switch, any objections, let us know. T-shirt sign up sheet was passed around.

Katie called the meeting to order at 5:02 Reminders that APSSC applications and were due. Don't forget our Induction Ceremony -Tuesday December 6th! All are welcome! Please contact Joia at flagwentch84@hotmail.com by Nov. 30th if you're interested in going. We will be celebrating in Janesville and will need drivers and for you to fill out a waiver. We will be having a Bake Sale Wednesday December 7th from 10:00 to 3:00. A sign up sheet for 1 hour shifts will be passed around and you will get extra points for helping. If you are baking anything, you will have to bring it to our meeting on Tuesday Dec. 6th. We will be voting on T-shirt designs next week. We will be getting the same color shirts and you will be able to order them over winter break so when you get back we will have them. You can also put designs in the Psi-Chi mailbox. We had David Kohlmeyer come in and speak about Grad School, counseling, and the GRE. Thank you everyone for remembering to be respectful of others and our speaker. Jess called the meeting to order in
Roseman Auditorium.
Some reminders: Habitat for Humanity sign up still needs drivers and for them to fill out the waver sheets. They will be meeting at the Campus Ministry on Prairie. The date for the bake sale will be Wed, Dec 7 from 10-3. We will pass around a sign up sheet for members to bring food and for people to volunteer to sit at the table at one of the next two meetings. All T-shirt design ideas will be due next semester, but start coming up with ideas! Officers decided that the induction ceremony will be on our last meeting and will take place somewhere in Janesville. Final plans have not been made yet. The Halloween Movie night went very well. We had a costume contest that Dan won and then we watched the movie Psycho. Thank you everyone who helped out bringing tables, food, posters, clean up, and for all who made the night happen. We hope to see you all at the next meeting
